Whilst this serum certainly didn't have any serious downsides, I think having so many active ingredients definitely stunted its potential. It was very soothing, and caused no irritation (Combo, sensitive and acne-prone skin), but didn't necessarily improve the texture of my skin, it just helped maintain my skin barrier if anything. Adenosine is a very cool ingredient, and I believe they've limited its potential by adding things like Hyaluronic Acid, Squalene and Niacinamide - things often abundant in other skincare products. Despite all this, since I've started using Vitamin C (applying once per day), my skin texture has certainly improved, and perhaps this serum helped boost the Vitamin C's benefits. Furthermore, perhaps if I was using this serum solely, twice per day, I'd see greater improvements - so don't let this review discourage you if that's your plan
