After using a whole bottle of Niacinamide 10% from the Ordinary I saw little to no benefit, but after a few weeks of using y axis I’ve seen noticeable results, my little bumps and breakouts aren’t as crazy and my complexion is overall more even. It feels hydrating and glowy and sits well with other products little HA and mineral sunscreens, plus the dispenser minimises contaminates and is generally hygienic.
An awesome serum well worth the hype - also like that it uses a pump rather than a dropper, which is much more sanitary. In terms of the product itself, I find 5% the 'Goldilocks' of Niacinamide percentages, 10% can often be a little too much for people (especially those with acne-prone and/or sensitive skin like myself), and serums with 2% or 3% can be a little lacklustre if you're buying them solely because they use niacinamide. I'm currently layering this serum with a Vitamin C serum in the morning followed by SPF, and have had no problems - although I understand there's a lot of debate on whether these actives cancel each other out... I guess I'll find out if they're right! Still, previously before using Vitamin C, I definitely saw a slight difference, you still need to be patient.
i started putting the serum on my blemished face due to previous acne i had. so far so good
Good
I have had really good results with this serum! It absorbs nicely and makes my skin look clear and bright.
